Life for the Innocent: Justice & Joy Orientation + Life Team Training

October 15 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Free

For the first time, we’re offering a combined Justice & Joy Orientation AND Life Team Training on Saturday, October 15. You may attend the Orientation, the Training or both!

Step 1: Justice & Joy Orientation | 8am -10 am

Is sex trafficking a real problem in the United States? What does it look like in our area? What can we do to practically combat sex trafficking in Northern Colorado?

Join us in linking arms and hearts in our understanding of human trafficking and resolve to take a stand against it. Attendance at the Justice & Joy Orientation is the first step to equip you to recognize signs of sex trafficking in our community and learn about practical tools combat it, while experiencing the joy accompanying those who promote biblical justice. We invite you to dare to hear more and dare to hope that you too can make a difference.

Step 2: Life Team Training | 10am – 12pm
This second step further EQUIPS those wanting to engage further, qualifying those who complete the training to ACTIVATE as Life Team members with LFTI (eligible to engage in prevention and intervention education, and to volunteer with LFTI strategic partners, etc.). Topics we will cover:

History of LFTI
Vision/mission
Expectations of our team members
Assessing our gifts and talents
Current volunteer needs at LFTI

This is a free public event recommended for ages 13+ due to content nature. Drinks and snacks will be provided. While the Life Team Training is FREE, we request that you include a suggested donation of $50 with your Life Team application.
